Raspberry Pi and Minecraft Camp
June 8 @ 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM CDT
The Piper Raspberry computer kit is a small computer set that allows the students to utilize their construction skills to assemble the computers by themselves. It is a great tool for students of any age. It builds on the student’s engineering and programming skills through a simulated Minecraft experience. Minecraft has become one of the most popular games among children today, making it an effective method of creating both an entertaining and educational learning tool. It is a virtual simulator that allows the children to use their artistic skills to construct their own virtual worlds, including houses and different landscapes. We are offering this class to allow the kids to exercise their creativity and introduce them into the world of computer science. We believe this course will be an exceptional learning experience while also allowing them to apply their gained knowledge into other aspects of their lives later down the road.
